They say “Hindsight is 20/20” so let’s back up a bit.  My daughter, Erin, was born in 1999 and is the youngest of my four children. At birth I was told she had Down syndrome.  I was not in total shock because I had known several parents who had children with Down syndrome.

Issue #34 – Exploring Moyamoya

Moyamoya is a rare condition in which the blood vessels (internal carotid arteries) that supply blood to the brain become narrowed. This limits the flow of blood to the brain, and puts them at risk for stroke.
